Journal of Spectral Imaging
Current Issue:
Vol. 03 No. 1 (2012)
Aims and scope
The Journal of Spectral Imaging (JSI) is a new online, peer-review journal publishing papers in the rapidly growing field of spectral and chemical imaging. High-quality papers are welcomed from all workers in the field on work where imaging and spectral information is obtained at the same time. Such areas include, but are not restricted to:
Applications may include:
- remote sensing
- macro imaging
- micro imaging
- nano imaging
All applications are welcomed, including those from:
- Agriculture
- Art
- Food
- Geology
- Medicine
- Pharmaceuticals
- Surfaces
with techniques such as:
- ESCA/XPS
- Mass spectrometry
- Mid-infrared spectroscopy
- Near infrared spectroscopy
- Nuclear magnetic resonance
- Raman spectroscopy
- Secondary ion mass spectrometry
- Terahertz spectroscopy
- Ultraviolet spectroscopy
- Visible spectroscopy
- X-ray spectrometry (microanalysis)
Data handling, data mining and chemometrics will also be important topics for papers.
During 2012 and 2013, access to papers is free to registered users. After this introductory period, regular subscriptions will apply.
