Focused book series

The first two titles in our “Focus on” series of short books have been published. These are available in print and PDF download. The aim is to provide a focused look at a particular topic. The first two books (Design of Experiments and Near Infrared Spectroscopy on Agricultural Harvesters) are collections of articles that appeared in past NIR news issues that have been edited to produce a uniform book. There will be further collections coming out, as well as brand new, unpublished material.

NIR Helps Differentiate Colombian Coffee

Coffee beans

Café Colombia, the National Federation of Coffee Growers, in conjunction with the University of La Rioja, Spain, have developed new technology based on NIR spectroscopy to protect the geographical indication of its coffee. NIR can be used to identify the source of coffee both regionally and globally.
