JSI—Journal of Spectral Imaging is an Open Access journal. Currently, there are no charges for publishing in the journal. We will be introducing charges in the future, to ensure the long-term viability of the journal.
There are no charges to submit a paper for review.
All of these licences mean that you retain copyright in your paper, and can reuse it in other publications and post the final published PDF on websites and social media sites, and in repositories. The licences also allow others to reuse your paper in various ways; follow the links above to learn more about each licence.
Pre- and post-prints
Authors may, if they wish, archive pre-prints (the original manuscript submitted to JSI before peer review) and post-prints (the accepted manuscript before copy editing and typesetting) as well as the final PDF version.
Editing and production
A paper published under the Open Access option will receive the same careful copy editing and typesetting that IM Publications prides itself on.
Your Open Access paper in JSI benefits from:
- It will be published in the online edition with full, free access.
- Authors retain copyright and all other rights in their work.
- The authors have the right to include the final PDF version of their paper in institutional and other repositories.
- The authors have a choice of Creative Commons licences.
