Hi There
The lamp went off and the machine froze when operating the machine. after restart, it went back to norml. Then after a couple of hrs. The lamp was off again:(. Can anyone explain what the problem can be ? The lamp was replaced in Nov. 2015. Is that the problem of lamp?
Thanks

Hi
If there is no problem with the lamp (it is better to try another new one, to be sure) than it could be the problem with fiber cable. In the worst case it is detector but i dont think so.
It also could be just the dust inside the system. Did you change the lamp with a gloves or with a bare hands?

I Agree with Venheads: the fastest and simplest way to diagnose a bulb problem is to replace the bulb with a new one.

Hi,
I have never had that problem with my 6500. I wonder if there is a temperature protection sensor that is causing the shut-down. When was the last time you changed the air filter? It may need to cleaned or replaced.
Best wishes,
Dave

Thanks to Venhead, hlmark and dwhopkins. The voltage of the lamp was fine, but could not pass the noise test. I replaced the lamp and clean the air filter. Now it is working fine thankfully!

Yes, there's nothing like a little regular maintenance! You should clean or replace the air filter every couple of months, whether it needs it or not. Simlarly the bulb, although that should last longer. Since you said your problem started when a new bulb was installed, that bulb may still be under warranty, so you might want to contact the manufacturer for a refund or replacement bulb.
Also, check your manual, I'd be very surprised if it didn't tell you how often each of those maintenance items should be replaced. Follow the recommendations religiously.

Glad that it works
The problem with Lamp could be caused by Fat from hands if ti was replaced without clear gloves
