Nagarajan - that's a big bite to put on the discussion group; what you need is a course in chemometrics. You should check the programs for the FACSS meeting and for the Eastern Analytical Symposium (EAS) this fall, you should find several courses that will cover the basic material. Richard Kramer's course "Chemomtric Techniques for Quantitative Analysis" is directed toward beginners such as yourself and is recommended. I think it is being offered at EAS. Howard \o/ /_\ |

Nagarajan, Are you in the USA? If yes you ought to be considering attending the International Diffuse Reflection Conference at Chambersburg, PA in August. See the website www.idrc-chambersburg.org/ Tom Fearn and I will be giving an Introductory course during the conference. Hope to see you there! Best wishes, Tony |
