The Journal of Near Infrared Spectroscopy (JNIRS) is a bimonthly, peer review journal dedicated to all aspects of NIR research. It covers all aspects of NIR spectroscopy and technology with the publication of original research papers, short communications, review articles and letters. Our experienced editors and thorough refereeing ensure that all research papers are of the highest quality. JNIRS has three regional editors, seven subject editors and an international advisory board, ensuring that papers accepted for publication will have been reviewed by appropriate authorities in the subject area and should receive world-wide recognition in the field. Subject areas include agriculture, life Sciences, chemical industry, pharmaceutical, remote sensing, process control, food, PAT and cotton technology.
The Journal of Near Infrared Spectroscopy aims for rapid publication. Accepted papers are published on the web soon after the production office receives a corrected proof. Papers are assigned a DOI which enables them to be cited immediately, even before page numbers are allocated. All workers in NIR spectroscopy are invited to submit papers which will be subject to peer review. Topics for papers include:
- Instrumentation
- Chemometrics
- Diffuse Reflection
- Fibre Optics
- Calibration
- Sampling
- Spectroscopy
- NIR Imaging
- New Applications
JNIRS is available in print with online access, online ONLY and CD-ROM format. The online edition is site wide and available as part of the print subscription to the year in which you have subscribed. If the print copy is not required, then an online only edition is available. (See e-Journal of Near Spectroscopy product). For those who do not have a subscription history to this journal, online access is available to all back issues from 1993 as an ENHANCED SUBSCRIPTION .
The CD ROM format of the journal allows instant searching of every issue since JNIRS's launch in 1993. (See CD ROM category). Several NIR proceeding are also included on this CD ROM. |
