Although the NIR community has a peer review journal—the Journal of
Near Infrared Spectroscopy—as its own specialist publication, papers
on aspects of NIR spectroscopy continue to be published in a very wide selection
of journals. The References pages of NIR news provide the reader with
a current awareness of activity across this spectrum, and this service will,
for most readers, probably easily justify the subscription to NIR news
on its own.
