This is the third article in the sereies on chemometrics in process NIR. Previous installments have discussed numerous constrains in this application and various chemometric tools that are useful in dealing with problems. Despite the challenges and limitations, a series of predictive PLS models were deployed which would indicate success. This installment asks the question "what is missing"?
