Flat calibration sets: at what price? Tom

ABSTRACT:
It is accepted wisdom that a calibration set should
ideally have an even spread of analyte values. There is some logic behind this, as explained below, but there is no logic in throwing away perfectly good samples to achieve this
uniform distribution. This issue's Chemometrics Space attempts to explain why.
