I wonder if I can ask a question please ? Is OPLS-DA appropriate for paired data ? For example if I took diseased and healthy tissue from each of a series of patients and wished to compare diseased v healthy can I use OPLS-DA in the same way I would if I had, say , unpaired data of diseased tissue from patients compared to healthy tissue from controls. I thought OPLS-DA might be OK if the orthogonal signal correction in some way factored out the patient effects many thanks in advance |
