Hi SHC, First we need to understand is it really anl file causing problem. Can you open another anl file? Can you create new one and then open it? Can you open old anl file with old software? If so, try to see, what's different. Decimal separator may be? Best regards, Maris |

Dear Maris, Thanks for your reply. WinISI II do have the function "Monitor result". However, when I tried to compare the predicted and reference values, the .anl files cannot be opened. Once I choose to open .anl files, the window showed application error: "MONITOR caused a General Protection Fault in module USER.EXE at 0001:67AC" . Why is this happening? Regards, SHC |

Hi SHC, In WinISI III there is a function "Monitor results". I do not have knowledge about WinISI II. There you can load scans, ref data and see how it looks with your eqa files. From there you might be able to decide whether you need simple slope/intercept adjustment or your equation has to be seriously remastered. Best regards, Maris |

Actually the old files were from ISIscan DOS version and I changed to WinISI recently. I used the old .eqa files, but the predicted result were higher than the actual test result. Can I edit the value of the scanned result to match the lab test result? |

Dear Sin, You could install WinISI in your new computer and just copy and paste the old projet folders into the WinISI folder (in C: ). Then you have to create the projets and search the old folders in C: Best regards, Jos Miguel |
