I would like to share an application with on-line NIR analysis in which the process sample is diluted with a solvent before it flows through the 2 mm flow cell. Without the solvent I get total absorption. When the solvent is mixed in a fixed ratio (3:4)with the process liquid I can get good quality spectra and I can get a good corelation between the spectra and the measured concentration of water and organic components. I would like to know if more people are using such an on-line application with addition of solvent. |
