IM Publications subscription manager, Katie Michael, is a few weeks away from a challenging bicycle ride from John O'Groats to Land's End: from the most northerly point of the British Isles to the most southerly. Katie will be riding 1,000 miles in nine days and climbing over 73,000 ft (although she will be coming down as well!). Katie is using her participation to raise funds for beat, a charity that supports carers of and people with eating disorders. Since she has paid for her participation in the event (Ride Across Britain), all money raised will go to beat. If you would like to sponsor and support her in her efforts, you can do so at http://www.justgiving.com/katiemichael. She also has a blog about some of her trials and tribulations in training for the ride: http://bike4beat.typepad.com/blog/ |

Dear NIR Friends, Can you imagine what it would be like to have been born deaf and blind? On 25th April I will be running in the London Marathon. Im running for SENSE the charity which helps to care and educate children who are born deaf and blind. Please would you help with a small donation? I will be most grateful. You can do so at: www.justgiving.com/tonydavies1 This will be my third London Marathon and after training through a very hard winter I think this will be my last! Best wishes, Tony |
