Dear Karl,
I would be as grateful as other members on the list if you could send me your spectra.
([email protected])

Thanks,
Dusan

Dear Karl,

Im as well very interested in the data set of whole blood samples you mentioned. Could you please send to me a copy([email protected]?
Thank you very much,

Alexander

We have some 600 to 1000 nm spectra of human blood, taken using a 4 mm wide flow cell (for transmission measurement), 3 different oxygen saturations (80, 90 and 100%) and a temperature range from 30 to 40C (in 2 increments). Two different blood samples too. We were chasing the temperature sensitivity of the absorption coefficients. Our cell arrangement and temperature range might make the measurements uninteresting for you. Perhaps you could look at our paper on the measurements, decide whether they are useful to you, before I trouble myself with digging into our archives for the raw spectra (its been 3 years or more now since the work was finished; still it was quite an experiment to set up and we would only be too pleased to see the data used for other purposes):

Martinsen PJ, Charlier J, Willcox T, Warman G, McGlone VA, Künnemeyer R. 2007. Temperature Dependence of Near-infrared Spectra of Whole Blood. Journal of Biomedical Optics. 13(3)1-7.

Hi, Karl

I shall be obliged if you could send some spectra to [email protected]. I measured some fresh blood samples in the transmission mode but could not find a reference spectrum, so I have no idea if my measurement is good or not.

Have a good holiday.

Jerry

Depending on what you really want, I have a possibility. I have a set of 95 diffuse transmission spectra of whole blood samples with 3 constituent values, Hemoglobin, glucose, and cholesterol. The spectral range is 400-2500 nm.
I can send these spectra by e-mail if you wish to have them.

Dear All,

I am trying to find some NIR spectra of any human blood. Do you mind sharing your collection if you have one?

I don't mean NIR spectra of hemoglobin or blood serum. What I need is spectrum of whole blood. It can be arterial or venous blood.

Thank you and Merry Christmas.

Jerry Jin
