Dear Iyas,

I went to google and I typed:

NIR , RAMAN , MIR of olive oil . Two examples on what I found by using these key words :

1. Near-infrared, mid-infrared and Raman spectra of a vegetable oil.

http://grasasyaceites.revistas.csic.es/index.php/grasasyaceites/article/viewFile/289/291

. The web is in Spanish but the paper is in English (just click in haga click aqu) . easy!!!

2. Comparison of near-infrared, fourier transform-infrared, and fourier transform-raman methods for determining olive pomace oil adulteration in extra virgin olive oil . Journal of the American Oil Chemists' SocietyVol.78,Number 9 / September 2001
Hong Yang1 and Joseph Irudayaraj1
By clicking in the envelope (after Irudavaraj) you will get Joseph Irudayaraj Email:

[email protected]

Now ask for a copy to. Dr. J. Irudayaraj

You can also type in Google NIR , RAMAN , MIR of and you will find many papers having spectra of different materials obtained with the three methods

Remember: Use always for your query very simple key words. Just say to our friend Google what you are looking for and you will have by sure what you want. It is easy!!. Remember also be patient., click on page 1,2,3,4,5, etc of the Google results. :

Enjoy your self-learning proces!!

Ana

Iyas - you might check Jerry Workman's "Handbook of Organic Compounds"; Academic Press/Elsevier (2001). It contains all three kinds of spectra, mostly of organic solvents. I'm sure you could find a set where the same solvent was subjected to all three techniques.
