Yjunhan - maybe you need to update your version of WINZIP. I got curious and downloaded the file, and then unzipped it with no problem. I've posted the files to my website so you can download the individual ones from there:

http://www.nearinfrared.com/dosc.m
http://www.nearinfrared.com/doscinformation.doc
http://www.nearinfrared.com/dosc_pred.m
http://www.nearinfrared.com/license.txt
http://www.nearinfrared.com/showresults.m
http://www.nearinfrared.com/viscgatest.mat
http://www.nearinfrared.com/westerhuis_2001.pdf

Please let me know when you've retrieved these files so I can erase them and recover the space.

Howard

Hi Scott,

I found the page before and downloaded that dosc.zip. But I could not unzip it, and I tried the other files listed in that Matlab files table. None of them can be opened.
I don't know what the problem is. could you please check it for you when you get time.
Thanks.

Yjunhan - I suppose I should have mentioned this: the chemometrics discussion group is e-mail based, but it does have an automated monitoring system that only allows registered e-mail addresses to post messages. Registration is necessary in order for you to receive the answers to your questions, since the distribution of messages cannot include non-registered addresses.

I thought that if a non-registered address sent a message, the response would include the instructions how to register.

I note that Scott Ramos gave you a source that answers your immediate question, so I won't look up how to register unless you have a general interest and still want to register for the chemometrics discussion group.

Hi Howard,

Just now I was attempt to send this question to the address you put up there, but I got a reply saying that I am not authorized to send mail to the ICS-L list from my university account."
I am wondering whether the ICS is a forum like this NIR forum or just an email address?

The DOSC algorithm, in Matlab format, is available from the Institute for Life Sciences, Universiteit van Amsterdam:

Yjunhan - you might do better to post this question to the discussion group of the International Chemometrics Society:

In my edition of the Unscrambler, there is no built-in function of Orthogonal Signal Correction or Direct Orthogonal Signal Correction.
Would anyone help me develop the Matlab codes or share the m-file of DOSC with me?
Thanks
