Dear Hendra,

I think you are probably correct about the wavelength range. No you cannot modify the Infratec 1255. Instruments are optimised to specific wavelength regions. You need a 6500 or something similar.
Good luck and best wishes,

Tony

Dear, All
First, thanks to Tedy for the information, it help me alot.
Im interisting on feedstuff analytical research. Especialy on forage digestibility on animal metabolism. Some references i read (on my opinion) that the best conducting it was by using NIR on 1100 - 2500 nm (since the lignin, and C-N appear on that region), can i use the infratec 1255 (850nm - 1050 nm)for the same reason, if no, can i modify the equipment to reach the spectrum i need?
Thanks, Best for all
