Camo also makes on-line predictor and classification modules for their Unscrambler. The Unscrambler is the most user-friendly software I know for non-experts, but it has one big disadvantage. You can save meta-data (instrument settings etc) in the data-file, but it does not propagate to the model. This means you need to maintain these things in paralel in separate files. There is also a trend towards server-based solutions for multiple instruments. Most often these will only work with instruments from one manufacturor. My company is cooperating with the Danish technological institute for a vendor-neutral solution. It can handle instruments from different suppliers and has a built in macro language. Data manipulation is done through a web browser. Contact [email protected] if you are interested. (Remove the Q's from the adress, I don't want him to drown in Spam ;-)

Dear Nuno,

for real time solutions you need a calibration/prediction software which is able to communicate with your spectrometer.
I can recommend the calibration workshop in combination with the online predictor from Sensologic.

Best regards,

Buck

Dear all,

I know that the market has some softwares dedicated to MVA from the simplest one to the most complex. At the moment I've got some doubts about the "best" one. I'm looking for a software that:
- allows MVA and allows the creation of MV models
- allows these same models to became available to analists in a easy way (an front-office-like application)
- allows the development and implementation of applications in manufacturing environment (real time solutions).
I have some softwares/solutions in mind but for now I'm going to wait on your feedback and afterwords I'll state them. I need "clean" minds.

Thank in advance

nuno
