Euhhh.. None? Fiber will always eat part of your light. You use it as a compromise, to obtain other things. This could be remote monitoring, online/inline analysis, measuring inside an extruder, or in an EX environment. Using fiber you can multiplex one spectrometer to several sampling points. But if you can create all the right conditions in a cuvette, this is certainly the best way to go. |

Gentlemen, I would like to ask you some comments regarding the way to analyze hazy liquid substances, as polymers. Which are advantages of using fiber cable instead cuvette cells? |
