Gaytri Hela, I don't think the address of the companies from Lez Dix will help you for calibration in INDIA. If you are delivering the product to UK you can as user / your self tune the instrument. I under stood standard protein are available and used in food ingredient.Yyou can use this protein for performance evaluation of the product/calibration . |

Lez Dix is correct . Instead of best samples please look in the range and more number of samples .First do the response study of the with NIRS. Then try to group them and go for fat analysis. Relation ship establishment done with Chemometrics techniques. In India the samples are not unique in nature like UK and other countries . It is under stood that few chemical parameter added to achieve good result. That should be taken in to account. |

I am in India, and not many people are working in these lines here. SO, we carry out the cross verification of fat and SNF in the sample by a different method other than NIR |

This depends on where you are. I am in the UK and in the UK there are at least two compnies that produce milk samples as a set over the full range of expected analytes (fat/prot/Carb(lact)and solids). the reference results are by AOAC methods and done in accredited labs. These samples are used routinly in many labs and therefore not expensive. |
