Dear Spectroscopists,

My group has funding for purchasing a new, research-grade FT-IR. The instrument must have NIR, MIR, and FIR capability, have broad accessory compatibility (ATR, DRIFT etc) and have microscope/imaging options. As such, I have narrowed the options down to Bruker (IFS 66), Thermo Nicolet (Nexus), and Digilab (FTS-7000).

As I am relatively new to FT-IR, I would be interested in hearing from anyone with experience/comments regarding these instruments/manufacturers before a decision is made (no manufacturers or suppliers please).

I can be contacted at: [email protected]

Thankyou and regards,

Robby
