Dear Ivelin, NIR spectroscopy is not normally able to detect low level constituents (i.e. less than .1 percent) so I would not expect patulin in apples to be a viable application. There is no record of patulin or mycotoxins in the NIR Publications database of 575 published papers (JNIRS and ICNIRS conference proceedings) Best wishes, Tony |
