I'm been responsible for implementing NIR in our factory. I have participated in a clurse in calibration but need some information in making routine analysis.
When I make routine analysis I can't connect my analysis made on my NIR-instrument with an equation made previously! I think that I make something wrong in making my Operation Method or my DCM. I'm using a FOSS XDS and the software is Vision.

Under "Mode" select "Routine Analysis" / Define Operations Method"
"Select Operations Method" (box appears)
Select "New"
"Select Operations Method Standardization" (box appears)
This window allows user to select whether samples in product to be analyzed were reference standardized. The default is "No Standardization". This selection must agree with the DCM with which you have acquired the samples used to make the equation that you are trying to bring in. Vision will not bring in the equation if the selection in this window does not agree with the DCM!

I think that this may be the trouble you are having at this point in method development. Check the DCM for the box at the top that says "Reference Standardization". If it is checked and grayed out meaning "can't be changed" then check Operations Method for Routine Analysis that you are trying to bring equation into. Does the check appear in the box "Reference Standardization"? It must agree with the DCM that you are using. You may need to make a new Operations Method if the check box is grayed out.
