We currently analyse oils in the form of tallow, we measure Iodine Value, Soap content and Free fatty acids, I belive polythene content to a degree can be measure using a bowmen also |

Dear NIRS family Please Suggest what are the important quality parameter/ chemical constitutes in Edible oil that can be measured through NIRS application . I read few papers and Under stood that FFA PV, and chemical marker are the most important one .Is it correct or any other ? |

Can I get more info. on the NIR dependability and accuracy on the use of NIR for predicting the FFA values in Ricepolish (normal arange of acceptance is upto max 5% FFA) |

We have wet chemistry methods to analyse the FFA in Feed samples. Can we use NIR for predicting the Free Fatty Acid (FFA -general formula CnH2n+1COOH) in feed samples? |
