Hello all. I am working with a team that has developed a new polymer coated silica fiber. It has the NIR transmittance of a silica on silica fiber with a NA of .6. Essentially, for the cost of a silica on silica fiber, this fiber transmits about 7 times more light. My question is, where would this be valuable? I have been looking into the tissue and blood testing markets. Are there any markets you can think of that might benefit from this technology? I will check this posting or feel free to contact me at [email protected] Thanks for your help. |
