Dear All,

I am Shay, taking part in the development of NIR based quantitative analitical methods.
I would be thankful if you could recommend of any advanced courses in NIR.

There are a number of good courses out there including the one offered by the host of this website.

Most would be considered "intermediate" courses as opposed to a more basic course that you might get from a vendor.

In the US, the major analytical chemistry conferences each generally have a short course offering. Eastern Analytical Symposium in November, Pittcon in March, and FACSS in October would each be likely to offer one.

Plus I'm sure there are additional offerings in Europe that others could speak to.

Dear Shay

You don't need a password to post, as you have seen! However, you can set up a free account on this forum by following the Edit Profile link on the left. You will then see an Instant Registration button towards the bottom of the screen. Just use this to set up your account.

With an account you can customise a number of things including the ability to receive e-mail alerts as soon as someone posts. This is appreciate by many.

Let me know if you have any problems.

I've just realised it would be better to have this as a direct link from the menu, so it is now at the bottom of the Utilities menu, as well as under Edit Profile.
