Amrish, That is an interesting question. I did a Google Search on "indocyanine green" that turned up some interesting information. Among other things, I found a specialty chemical company, H. W. Sands Corp. www.hwsands.com that supplies that dye and has many others listed by wavelengths of peak absorbance. I did not go through the whole list, but you might get more information from their website or contacting them. I hope this helps. Best wishes, Dave |

Amrish - I guess the guy you should ask is Neil Lewis of Spectral Dimensions. He knows more about imaging than anyone else as far as I know, but I don't think he monitors this discussion group. \o/ /_\ |

Does anyone know of food grade NIR contrast agents? I heard about indocyanine green which can be injected in blood, but it cannot be "eaten". There might be a lot of interesting things that might be possible with such a contrast agent. Thanks for your time, Amrish |
