Rusie, if you find it, please let me know...

This guys doesn't absorbs on NIR. In my opinion (altough I'm not an expert) you should use XRF - X-ray fluorescence - to quantify the metals. The other anions may be determined by NIR in a very indirect way.

Perhaps mid-infrared can be used for P, S and N anions.

Full soil analysis by NIR is a dream of many of us!

Gustavo.

Hello all,

Does anyone know about band assignments of plant essential nutrients such asK+, Na+, Ca2+, Mg2+, NO3-, Cl-, SO42-, HPO42-, Fe3+, Mn2+, BO32-, Zn2+, Cu2+, etc? I am working on the transmission spectra of mixture solution of these nutrients and trying to identify some nutrients peaks. Would anyone who has documents or information on this please help me out here? Thank you!
