Hyperspectral imaging: shining light on mushroom quality

Since its introduction in 1930, the common white mushroom has evolved into a multi-million Euro industry in Ireland. The mushrooms are graded by appearance and white and blemish free are the main criteria for quality. This article outlines the advantages of hyperspectral imaging for mushroom quality.
