Some considerations about NIR spectroscopy: Closing speech at NIR- 2009

As it is the tradition for the Chairman of the ICNIRS to give the closing speech at a conference, Pierre Dardenne did this by acknowledging the participants and the organising team and relaying some ideas which he had developed which he felt were important. This article outlines his speech.
