Bad pixel detection in hyperspectral staring camera systems

With the massive quantity of data produced by a hyperspectral imaging system, how can one assure that the quality of the acquired image data is optimum-free of garbage data? This article discusses one of the issues effecting hyperspectral image data quality: the detection of bad pixels in staring focal plane detectors.
