Robust NIR models for the release of clinical trial tablets

For many years the identity of blister packed double-blind clinical trial tablets has been confirmed by applying UV spectroscopy or liquid chromatography. This article discusses the introduction of NIR spectroscopy as an alternative technique which reduces cycle times.
